Br. Jimmy Zammit, O.F.M. Elected General Definitor

On Thursday, 15 July 2021, at Collegio Internationale San Lorenzo da Brindisi (Rome), the General Chapter of the Order of Friars Minor elected brother Jimmy Zammit to the government of the Order as Definitor. We will keep him in our prayers on this new role as a servant towards the Franciscan Order.

Although Jimmy is a member of the Province of St. Paul in Malta, he has for many years studied and ministered in our own province, mostly in the Toronto area. He has held positions in our province as Provincial Definitor, Formation Director, and Pastor. Jimmy's current assignment is at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Parish in North York, Toronto, Canada. Congratulations, Jimmy. We are proud to call you our own!
